The Haa is open from mid April to the end of September.
The Haa facilities include toilets, local information and tea or coffee making.

Welcome to the Tangwick Haa Museum website - a museum preserving the history of Northmavine in the north mainland of Shetland.

Different aspects of life in Northmavine through the years are illustrated by using a mixture of artefacts and photographs. Part of the display has a new theme every year.

Microfilm viewer and local support for parish records.

An important part of the museum is its Parish Records and Census Records which can be seen on a microfilm viewer. The custodians will be only too happy to help you with your search.

The museum is open from 11am to 5pm from 17th April to the 30th of September.

Out of hours opening by prior arrangement. Disabled access to ground floor.
